Principle of operation
The plasma is the fourth state of existence of matter. Matter usually exists in three states: solid state, liquid state and gaseous state. But in some special cases, there is a fourth state, such as the matter in the ionosphere of the earth's atmosphere. In plasma state, there are the following substances: electrons in high-speed motion state; neutral atoms, molecules and atomic groups (free radicals) in active state; ionized atoms and molecules; unreacted molecules and atoms, etc., but the substance still maintains the neutral state in general.
The plasma cleaner is to use the properties of these active components to treat the sample surface, generate high-energy disordered plasma through RF power supply under certain pressure, and bombard the cleaned product surface by plasma, so as to achieve cleaning, modification, photolithography, ashing and other purposes.
